Jr. Enterprise Software Sales Executive

Adaptive Computing is seeking to fill a full-time position for an Jr. Enterprise Software Sales Executive. The position is in the Naples, FL office and relocation is not provided, so local candidates are preferred.

The role of the Jr. Enterprise Software Sales Executive will be to close large software deals with Fortune 1000 companies and top organizations in government and higher education, helping them transform their business through the use of technology. This individual will be responsible for prospecting and finding direct sales opportunities through their self-directed efforts and leads provided by the marketing department. Compensation is base salary plus commission with minimal travel. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage and develop a pre-defined territory. You will be responsible for following up with sales prospects, proactively identifying target prospects, establishing contact with these prospects, and walking them through the sales cycle.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Make initial telephone contacts to assigned leads, new accounts and lost accounts
  • Complete the required number of phone calls and emails to contacts
  • Log activities, calls, and emails to contacts into Salesforce
  • Qualify leads
  • Follow-up on leads
  • Willing to train the right person

Requirements:

  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent phone communication skills; you do not mind spending time on the phone
  • Sales experience in the software industry preferred
  • Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent Project Management Skills
  • Good understanding of enterprise software a plus

Experience:

  • Recent college graduate or pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, marketing
    or related field.
  • Sales Experience Preferred
