Enterprise Software Sales Executive

Adaptive Computing is seeking to fill a full-time position for an Enterprise Software Sales Executive. The position is located in the Naples, FL office and relocation is not provided, so local candidates are preferred.

The role of the Enterprise Software Sales Executive will be to close large software deals with Fortune 1000 companies and top organizations in government and higher education, helping them transform their business through the use of technology. This individual will be responsible for prospecting and finding direct sales opportunities through their self-directed efforts and leads provided by the marketing department. Compensation is base salary plus commission with minimal travel. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage and develop a pre-defined territory.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Proactively identify target prospects, establish contact with these prospects, and walk them through the sales cycle
  • Contact, engage, and grow sales leads into opportunities
  • Good Customer relationship skills with the ability to close sales
  • Maintain comprehensive company and HPC industry knowledge


  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Sales experience a must; experience in enterprise software, IT system hardware or financial services sales are encouraged to apply; HPC experience a plus
  • A proven track record of successfully selling high value solutions via the telephone, conference calls, WebEx, Skype and similar tools
  • Excellent telephone skills and etiquette
  • Outstanding listening and task completion skills
  • Mastery of the conceptual-sales process
  • A desire to learn and expand industry knowledge
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM preferred
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Excellent analytical skills; Project management skills; People skills; Detail oriented; Reliable
