Bio:
Chris Willard is a 25-year veteran of the High Performance Computing industry and co-founder of Intersect360 Research. As Chief Research Officer, Chris leads the demand-side and supplier-driven data analysis practice for Intersect360 Research’s forward-looking market intelligence subscription service. In addition, he supports a range of client-specific services including custom research studies and strategic consulting. Chris’ career as an industry analyst spans three decades in his positions with Intersect360 Research, its predecessor Tabor Research as a Senior Research Consultant, IDC as a Research Vice President for High Performance Computing, and Data Quest as a Senior Analyst for the Supercomputing Industry. Prior to entering the analyst ranks, Chris worked with Cray Research as a software engineer, and at GE/NASA Ames as a systems engineer and lead user services consultant. Chris earned his Ph.D. in 1980 from the University of Minnesota, in Biometry and Health Computer Science.

Bio:
A well-known HPC industry expert and cloud computing evangelist, Steve Campbell brings a unique blend of expertise to his role as a contributing editor for the HPC in the Cloud team. Currently a managing partner for Silicon Valley based Orion Marketing, Steve has held senior VP positions in Product Management and Product Marketing responsible for all company marketing for HPC and Enterprise vendors, most notably during his time working with Sun Microsystems and Hitachi Data Systems.
