Adaptive Computing Recognized Locally in Utah

We’re happy to announce that we received the Utah Genius Award, which recognizes Utah’s top 20 companies by number of patents issued. Adaptive Computing has secured 27 patents surrounding our private cloud software, ranking us as the 18th top patent company in Utah.

The Utah Genius Awards serve as the state’s prime program for paying tribute to the creative people and companies that contribute heavily to the state’s growth through numerous patents and trademarks. We’re honored to receive this award and to continually contribute to the cloud systems management software space through product innovations and new patents.

Additionally, Adaptive Computing’s CTO and Founder, David Jackson, ranked 11th among individual patent owners in Utah. It’s through our strong leadership and a commitment to growth in the industry that we’ve been able to continually secure distinctions such as this. We received the Utah Genius Award in 2012 for securing a total of 15 patents. In the past year we’ve seen rapid cloud technology expansion, raising our total of patents to 27—one of the largest private cloud patent portfolios in existence.

Continuing our success in private cloud, we received an honorable mention in Enterprise Software and Web-Enabled B2B Solutions at the Utah Innovation Awards for our Moab Cloud Suite. The Utah Innovation Awards is the state’s first and premier innovation awards program, recognizing local innovations and the companies that create them.

We believe our innovations in policy-based optimization for private cloud uniquely position us to be on the cutting edge of a continually growing market. We’re proud to receive awards like this to validate our hard work in the industry. Adaptive Computing is especially humbled to receive Gartner’s designation of a “Cool Vendor” in their 2013 report: “Cool Vendors in Cloud Management.” To say the least, we’ve had a great year and are looking ahead to how we can further contribute to the industry.
